Our joyous weekend began on Friday night at the Ramada Inn & Suites
at Oyster Point in Newport News, Virginia with the Meet & Greet. Family members picked up their reunion bags that were
filled with useful information and product samples in addition to their reunion t-shirts.
The highlight of the evening was searching for our names on the Booth
Family Quilt. The handmade quilt, created by family members GloriaLynne Davis-Robinson, Letha Davis and Carolyn Martin, contained
285 hand-written names of the descendents of George H. Booth.

Family members also took great pleasure in perusing the photographs
and genealogical materials made available through the research of family historians, Letha Davis and GloriaLynne Davis-Robinson.
Many family members were delighted to see how their contributions of pictures and information were used to produce the projects.
Fourth and fifth generation Booths were amazed to see photographs of
second generation family in the Generation Yearbook: A Pictorial Heritage. Others eagerly flipped through the pages
of The Legacy of George H. Booth to learn the names of their ancestors and fellow cousins.
The Booths departed for the evening excited about the occasion and
looking forward to the continued events of the reunion.
