“The Legacy Continues…”

My sister, Letha, and I began searching our family history many years ago when we were both still in high school. This has been an exciting project for us over the years. We are pleased to be able to share with you some of the results of our hard work.

Most of our maternal family hails from the Purtain area of Gloucester County, Virginia. Although our family has grown and spread across the country since our earliest documented ancestor of 1785, we still call Gloucester our home. Recently, we were blessed to be introduced to our paternal family and have now added our paternal relatives from as far back as 1805.

Our research has afforded us with the opportunity to visit with many of our older family members. We are thankful to them for sharing with us the tales of their youth, their photos, and access to their vast amounts of memorabilia.

We encourage our family members to contact us and share information about their family group that they have been collecting over the years. We can learn so much from things such as Family Bibles, wedding and birth announcements, and even funeral programs. Please contact us if you have any of these items that you are willing to share with us.

We take pride in preserving the mementos of our past and therefore will take great care of your valuable items. We will speak with you to discuss the best way of sharing your items with us.
